Earlier this week, a former flight attendant announced that she had plans to sue the Salt Lake City International Airport. According to the plaintiff, Natalie Maxell, she slipped and fell on a slick sidewalk and suffered a traumatic brain injury as a result of her fall.
Maxwell said that as she was returning from a flight on December 23, 2008, she slipped while walking to her vehicle in an employee parking lot. As a result of her slip and fall accident, she claims that she sustained a brain injury that has impacted her person and professional life.
The former flight attendant filed her lawsuit in state court. At this time, the amount of damages Maxwell is seeking remained unidentified. In her personal injury claim, she lists the Salt Lake City governments and the company that owns the employee lot as defendants.
