Local Motorcycle instructors are aware of the stats and are doing their best to educate riders and students alike.
On the topic of motorcycle safety, biker safety instructor Cindy Hill said, "Wearing a helmet will save your life. You should never ride without a helmet, even if it is just five blocks away, because most accidents happen close to your home."
