After losing a 7-year-old daughter, one family has decided to take action by filing a wrongful death lawsuit.
According to the lawsuit, the young girl was visiting her father at his place of employment, a chain steak restaurant. On Nov. 10, 2008, two chefs at the restaurant decided to rob it. They went in with guns and wound up killing the little girl, along with her 24-year-old father and another victim, a 44-year-old woman. The killers, who were also brothers, are due to be sentenced this month.
One of the brothers has already agreed to a deal that will save his own life, but will take that of his sibling. By agreeing to plead guilty to second-degree murder, he has placed the blame on his brother who reportedly pulled the trigger. The wrongful death lawsuit alleges that the restaurant and its parent company are to blame for failing to provide proper security of the restaurant.
