A woman visiting Long Island, New York was struck and killed last week by an irresponsible motorist.
According to the police report, the woman was traveling west on a local road when she was hit by a van going north. The van ran through a red light and struck her vehicle, ultimately causing her fatal injuries. Although the 60-year-old victim was brought to a nearby hospital, doctors were unable to revive her.
