This week, it has been reported that a woman from Centreville is filing a lawsuit against the owners of an Applebee's Restaurant. She claims that while at the restaurant she slipped and fell on a wet floor as she walked through the door.
Terran Jenkins filed her slip and fall lawsuit against Applebee's International Inc. and Applebee's Services Inc. on December 6, 2010 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
In March of 2009, she said that she walked into a restaurant and slipped on a wet floor by the entryway. After her slip and fall accident she allegedly suffered injuries.
In her lawsuit she accuses the restaurant of negligence for allowing such dangerous conditions to exist and says she is seeking damages to compensate for medical expenses, lost wages and court fees. Jenkins is hoping to secure $100,000 in compensation.
