After injuring herself during a slip and fall accident on Dec. 23, 2009, Lindsay Boggs is taking the Texas Roadhouse to court.
The Port Arthur resident claims to have slipped and fallen in the restaurant, however, the suit does not state exactly what caused the accident and what Boggs was doing at that time. It was filed in the Jefferson County District Court on Feb. 28 and only states that Boggs was injured due to no fault of her own and solely on the negligence of Texas Roadhouse. An unknown "dangerous condition" is the culprit in this slip and fall suit. Boggs did say that the restaurant should have warned its customers and taken precautions to take care of its floors.
In her slip and fall lawsuit Boggs is asking for past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, lost wages, impairment and disfigurement, as well as all court costs.
