Thanks to the efforts of several firefighters, a father and his two daughters were rescued from a potentially fatal jet ski accident.
According to several reports, the fire department received a call last week about three people that had been ejected from a jet ski. Police say that the father was riding a jet ski with his two daughters, ages 9 and 7, near a bridge on a river. Due to heavy currents in the river that day, the craft overturned and the three were unable to climb back on top. Instead, the father and his daughters held on to a line of buoys until help arrived.
All three were quickly transported to an area hospital to be treated. Officers say that no one was injured during the accident.
