Friends and loved ones of an 80-year-old woman who was fatally struck in a Davie hit-and-run crash are offering a $10,000 reward to find the driver.
Sue Kolcz stood clutching a framed portrait of her mother Wednesday, three weeks after the 80-year-old woman was killed by a hit-and-run driver while talking with a neighbor.
“This is my beautiful mother,” said Kolcz, 57, of Davie. “She was left to die. And I was left to see a picture of her under a yellow tarp with her bare feet sticking out. You know how hard that is?
“Please come forward,” she urged the unknown driver.
Kolcz joined police at a news conference pleading for the public’s help in the death of Emma Kelsoe, a great-grandmother who loved to shop, dance to country music and dote on her Chihuahua, Rondo.
